If am not mistaken, this warner bros stamp series was released in July 2007 by PT POS INDONESIA.
Though I'm not a big fan of the Half-Blood-Prince, Harry Potter, I think its worth to collect this series.

General Elections

General elections henceforth election is a process of voting candidates for legislative bodies and political posts ranked from president, governor, to mayor and vices. Election is periodically run every five year by Komisi Pemilihan Umum (Electoral Commission) based on the principle of direct, public, free and confidential as well as honest and fair. Prior to the voting day, candidates and political parties offer their programs and political promises to their constituent in campaign session. The winner will be scored by the amount vote got by each contestant.

Love Reading And Writing

Reading is a key towards civilization progress. Since the invention of alphabet as a means of written communications, reading ability has becomes essential for character building and national development. However, illiteracy remains a problem in many countries. In Indonesia about 10.5% peoples are illiterate, whether in less-developed countries (research shows that the average of 60% of African peoples are illiterate), or in well developed countries (even USA still faces 5% illiteracy among its people). Furthermore, the eradication of illiteracy is not the ultimate battle because another important task is waiting socializing reading habit.

Special Needs Education

Education is mentioned in The 1945 Indonesian Constitution in Article 31, verse (1) which states "Every citizen shall have the right to an education." Accordingly, the Law No. 2, 1989 on the National Educational System, Article 5 states that "Every citizen shall have the same right to good education". In Article 8, verse I of the Law No.2 it is stated that "Citizens with physical, mental, intellectual and/or social disability shall have the right to special education".

The Great Post Road is the road stretched from west to east at northern part of Java from Anyer to Panarukan along 1,000km. Initaded by Governor-General Herman Willem Daendels, this road is passing through Serang, Tangerang, Jakarta, Bogor, Sukabumi, Cianjur, Bandung, Sumedang, Cirebon, Brebes, Tegal Pemalang, Pekalongan, Kendal, Semarang, Demak, Kudus, Rembang, Tuban, Gresik, Surabaya, Sidoarjo, Pasuruan, Probolinggo dan Situbondo.

Recent trend shows new lifestyle of consuming western fast foods in place of traditional foods. Nevertheless, it's also quite a widely opened chance to promote Indonesian foods internationally.

Indonesian Traditional Food 2006

Stamp issue with theme traditional food is one effort to introduce variety of Indonesian culture to the public. The kind of food that shows in this issue is only some of the variety food in region. Special stamp series traditional food is 3rd issued after the first issued in 2004. Just like previous issue, this time shows kind of traditional food from 4 provinces which represent island in Indonesia territory. It is Pempek from South Sumatra, Gudeg from Yogyakarta, Ayam Betutu from Bali and Aunu Senebre from Papua.
