Ce Wei in January 2008

It was a bit late for dinner, according to my time, but tis OK since someone recommended me to have some of the food from there...ce wei.

So, As soon as I arrived at home, I went there with my atomic family - just the three of us.

Well, cut the crap and straight to the menu:

  • Home-made Beancurd Serve in cold
  • sauté Stringbean
  • Tom Yam soup
  • Red Braised Pork's rib

 

I took the first dip on a Home-made Beancurd Serve in cold. The toppings: There's a shredded meat that has been boiled and fried (abon). Theres a greenish stuff beetwen them (beancurd and abon). I don't know what the heck is that. And I'm too busy to taste the beancurd, thus forgot to ask them about it.
Hmm, it taste like a... *I recalled once ... twice... ... yes! * The beancurd taste like a steamed egg! Like my mom's cooking. Is this a deviation? Though it is a deviation I still like it. But I prefer the home-made beancurd with a sea-weed and mushroom toppings, since I can taste the genuine beancurd...


Home-made Beancurd served in cold

After finished a couple of beancurd, then I go to tom yam soup. Well, It's GREAT! the taste are all blended into one: Spicy-Hot-Sour...It all mixed with a great combination. It's not Too Sour or Too Spicy or Too HOT!...I would HIGHLY recommended you this one!

Though the taste was good, I was a bit dissapointed with the sauté Stringbean. It's not what I imagined: slice beef stuffed to the stringbean - like the one in wu fulin. For the good sake of the taste, I would recommend this one.

The last one, Red Braised Pork's Rib was served with a mantouw (chinese bread). But the mantouw was too small, hence, I could not insert the rib between the mantouw. Well, the size of the three slices of the ribs was very Big. But it's not fit with the mantouw...too bad. And for the rib itself, It's good: soft and tender, melted into our mouth...but I have a feeling: is this the canned pork's rib?
But I still recommend you this one.

No desert, for this time! I could not stuffed it into my tummy anymore...I was full!
