Kemangi - Nasi Lemak

It was early in the morning, I was planned to go to some places, but I got stuck in Puri Traditional Market Place.

While waiting for my wife in the market, I took a walk around the parking area and spot this restaurant: Kemangi Nasi Lemak and Warung Kopi. It sounds interesting and the place looks nice and cozy.

After spending around half hour, then we decided to enter the restaurant. While listening to gamelan music, I just ordered Nasi Lemak Packaged with Stir-Fried Chicken and Sayur Asam.I've got not much choice, since it was a bit early to start the meal with heavier menu than this.

Nasi Lemak, is basically made of Steamed rice with coconut oil. This is one of my favorite Indonesia's food next to ketoprak.

Nasi Lemak

As soon as it was on my table, I started to smell the nasi lemak's aroma...its very good. Continued with tasting it with a spoonfull of it...Oooh, its deliciously oily and salty or in other words: gurih (Bahasa Indonesia). Yes! it's very good. I am HIGHLY recommended you this one.

Next, I tried to take a bite of the Stir-fried chicken...and it was ... tender. Yes, they did it very well. Thumbs up! Then I took the Stir-Fried Chicken and the Nasi Lemak with a dip of the 'chilli spicy sauce'. And again....Yes...IT'S GOOD! the chilli sauce is PURRRR-FECT!!...

Within just in a few minutes, I ran out of the Nasi Lemak. So, I re-order one more!...

But, I was dissapointed by the sayur asam. I could not give any recommendation on this one..it's sucks!

As soon as I finished my Green Bean Juice, paid the bill and rushed into another place...and here I am, recalled the deliciously oily and salty of the Nasi Lemak...

Bon Appetite!
